What is the Net Collaboration Score (NCS)?
During the organisational health survey, each team received feedback on the quality of its collaboration—both internally (within the team) and externally (from other teams).
The Net Collaboration Score (NCS) is a simple yet powerful metric calculated as:
NCS = [% of feedback rated Excellent] – [% of feedback rated Underdeveloped]
This score gives you a clear picture of how well teams are working together across the organisation.
Scores above 30 are considered excellent
Scores around 0 are average
Scores below 0 indicate areas where focused improvements are needed
The goal is to improve collaboration quality over time, creating a healthier, more connected organisational system.
A short video below walks you through how to access the platform and provides further explanation of the NCS.
